Brand new purpose-built facility for young people.
WEST Youth Zone, part of the EdCity development in White City, officially opened in April 2024. It’s a purpose-built facility for young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 for those with additional needs).
The new facility includes a large four-court sports hall, indoor climbing wall, fitness suite, boxing and martial arts room, performing arts studio, music suite with recording equipment, project rooms for arts, crafts and fashion, film and multimedia facilities, a teaching or mentoring kitchen, and a café serving hot, nutritious meals for about £1. There’s also a rooftop football or ‘kick pitch’ with floodlights, a breakout room for workshops, youth health/wellbeing/employability projects, and a BabyZone for younger children up to age five.
